This page provides technical information about and access to web service used for the Stakeholder portal.
Metadata editor
This service, presented as a user friendly wizard, helps you to create a metadata file according to
ISO/TC211 19115, which is an internationally accepted standard for metadata. The metadata file is
formatted as text/XML. The editor opens in a new window.
Statistics service
This service enables you to request statistical information about
online-available raster data in GeoTIFF format.
The range of statistical parameters comprehends of minimum, maximum and mean value,
median and standard deviation, and user-defined quantile and histogram values.
This information shall enable experts to evaluate the presented climate change
data and derive additional
information. A web client, opening in a new window, helps you to formulate
and send such requests and displays the results.
Map Algebra Service
This service is used for processing of online-available raster data using the
Map Algebra Schema defined by Dana Tomlin in " Tomlin, C. D. (1990). Geographic information
systems and cartographic modelling. New Jersey, Prentice Hall".
It performs a user defined map algebra procedure
composed of one or more map algebra operations. The service returns a
raster data set in GeoTIFF format that contains the processing result.
A corresponding web client to
help you create, edit and send such requests and
to visualise the returned result, is still under construction.
