To identify those aspects of climate change that Swedish reindeer herders feel they are sensitive for, interviews have been done in the study area Pitea river valley:

In the interviews, people that are active in reindeer herding have been asked about their experiences with a currently changing climate and how they think they might be affected by it in future. This is what they said about changes in the different seasons:

autumn: "wet autumns.." winter: "strong thaws.." spring "mild weather .." summer "grass dries away.."
