To identify those aspects of climate change that Norwegian reindeer herders feel they are sensitive for, interviews have been done in Tana River Basin in 2003/04:

In the interviews, people that are active in reindeer herding have been asked about their experiences with a currently changing climate and how they think they might be affected by it in future. This is what they said about changes in the different seasons:

autumn: "ice on ground.." winter: "mild weather.." spring "good for calving.." summer "had some good years.."
