The particularly warm weather in summer the last two or three years has been beneficial for reindeer growth, as in general with the weather conditions in this time:
“These have been especially good years, very particular.”
The Norwegian coastal climate has also not been impacted by problems from dry hot summers that have had effects in other areas:
“It is not so good if it is dry [in summer], but we have at least not
noticed that so far. We live so close to the sea and .. it is always moisture here.”
